MOSCOW – Moscow must be pre-informed of foreign navy vessels on the north-east passage, the sea route along the Russian north coast or Siberia want.
That has a high defensiefunctionaris in Moscow, Michael Mizintsev, stressed. The obligation of Russia on the height is set, according to him, next year, reports the Russian news agency Sputnik.
The Kremlin wants new legislation to his own words, of “a legal vacuum” on the seaway. The route is the shortest between the north of Europe and the Far East.
But the largest part of the route is located so far north that, at most, two months per year were free of ice. The expectation is that the earth gets warmer, and the sea route still longer useable.
