The sixth edition of the BeNe Ladies Tour starts next summer on Thursday, July 18, with a prologue in the Dutch city of Utrecht. That the organization has on Friday published.
The only cross-border bicycle race for the world’s best in vrouwenwielrennen, with a 2.1 status by the UCI, will be held from Thursday 18 to Sunday 21 July 2019. Utrecht is also in 2020 the starting point and has an option for 2021.
“We are very pleased to be with a wielerminnende city like Utrecht to be able to work together,” said organiser Geert Stevens. “In addition, the trajectory of the prologue is very special. It will be for the riders a fantastic experience by Leidsche Rijn, the new city district of Utrecht, to be able to courses. The start of the prologue is at Castellum Hoge Woerd, the place where the Romans once the border guard.
