MOSCOW – Russia’s new S-400 anti-aircraft missiles stationing in the Crimea. That has the Russian ministry of Defence announced, reports news agency Interfax.
The news of the placement follows the promulgation of the state of siege by the Ukraine for thirty days. The reason for this are the increased tensions with Russia after the incident Sunday in the Black Sea. The Russians took three Ukrainian naval vessels, seized with 24 crew.
The news agency RIA reported that the new S-400 systems by the end of the year can be operational.
