The film, the fourth remake of the original from the thirties of the previous century, tells about the relationship between a young, novice singer (Lady Gaga), and an alcoholic rocker (Bradley Cooper).

A Star Is Born has in New Zealand a classification M received, which equates to 16 years of age and older.
