Four Belgian fishermen rescued on the high seas

A fishing boat from Ostend capsized yesterday just after 16 hours the British coast. The four fishermen could be saved. That writes VRT NWS.

The accident happened approximately 20 kilometres from the Belgian coast, but in English waters off the coast of Eastbourne. The four crew members could be rescued and remained unhurt, already were two men in the water. The other two were on the hull to sit there and were with a rescue helicopter picked up. They were all taken to the hospital, and return home today.

The emergency call went both to the Maritime Rescue and Coordination centre in Ostend, as well as to the British emergency services. According to their family dobberden them 45 minutes around the sea.
