Action German police against human trafficking

BERLIN – German police on Tuesday, with a lot of manpower to take action against a gang that is suspected of smuggling. A total of 47 homes searched in three states. According to a spokeswoman four persons arrested. They would, amongst others, have been guilty of arranging about 200 sham marriages to bring people to a residency status to help.

More than 570 police officers were involved in the large-scale operation. That was especially concentrated in Berlin, but also in Brandenburg and North rhine-Westphalia are houses invaded to gather evidence. The investigation in this case has been running for a year.
