US, Turkish ministers of sanctielijst

WASHINGTON – The United States have sanctions against two Turkish officials after a few months revoked. Ministers Abdulhamit Gül (Justice) and Süleyman Soylu (Home Affairs) were on the sanctielijst during the diplomatic conflict over the prosecution of the American mental Andrew Brunson. The pastor has now been released and returned to the US.

The fate of Brunson, who was accused of supporting terreurorganisaties, was earlier this year, the deployment of a high sustained argument between the two NATO allies. After the US sanctions were set against Gül and Soylu, beat Turkey back with its own sanctions against two American ministers. That are now repealed, reports the Turkish ministry of Foreign Affairs.
