Saudi Arabia bombing again targets in Yemen

CAIRO – The Saudi Arabia-led coalition has a bombing run on targets from the air force at the international airport of the Yemeni capital Sanaa. The missile strike was aimed mainly at a launch site of drones and ballistic missiles, said a spokesman of the coalition on al-Ekhbaria TV.

The area in Yemen is managed by Houthi rebels. Al-Masirah TV, a station that is under the control of the Houthi’s falls, says that, so far, at least thirty attacks have been carried out on targets in the area around the airport.

The American minister of Foreign Affairs Mike Pompeo said Wednesday that he wants an end to the violence in Yemen. He calls on Saudi Arabia to stop air strikes on populated areas in Yemen. Also the Iran-backed Houthi rebels have their missile attacks on Saudi Arabia to cease.

Pompeo wants that next month peace talks under the leadership of the UN on the civil war in Yemen are launched.
