Champion Filou Ostend on Tuesday on the fourth match day in the group stage of the Champions League basket with 73-79 lost to the Slovenian Petrol Olimpija.

The kustploeg stood with the rest in the Versluys Dôme 39-40 behind. After a convincing third quarter (22-16) took the troops of Dario Gjergja the lead but in the last quarter (12-23), gave them the victory still out of your hands.

Nemanja Djurisic made 19 points for Ostend, four more than Chase Fieler.

Oostende lost his first two matches in group D, against the Greek Promitheas Patras (84-93), and the Italian Segafredo Virtus Bologna (89-60), and won afterwards the Lithuanian Neptune Klaipeda (97-89). On the fifth day, Wednesday, november 7, pulling the kustboys to the German Medi Bayreuth.

The top four of the four groups punch through to the eighth finals. The numbers five and six to repent further in the Europe Cup, for the numbers seven and eight is the European adventure, after the group stage.
