Goalkeeper Etienne Vaessen and trainer Fred Grim of RKC Waalwijk their luck after the historic bekerstunt against PSV in the second round of the TOTO KNVB-cup. The Waalwijkers are especially pleased that the choice of the Locals with a B-team to start, have punished.
“Itís your own fault,” said a proud Vaessen Tuesday night in conversation with Omroep Brabant. “The trainer told the whole week that we trust them. That PSV disrespectful with a B-team appeared, has for us only but for more motivation taken care of.”
For PSV it was in the early stages, however, still low to the hand, because Érick Gutiérrez made in the first minute for the 1-0. RKC then turned handsome, came twice back from behind (2-2) and forced a renewal.
