JERUSALEM – From the Gaza strip are Friday night at least ten and perhaps twelve rockets fired towards southern Israel. A legerwoordvoerder told the newspaper Haaretz that most of the projectiles have been intercepted by the Israeli defense system Iron Dome.
In villages close to the border and in the city of Sderot went the air raid sirens several times. Residents reported explosions to have heard, in a number of cases were in the air. Media in Gaza said that Israel’s retaliation targets in the area of Rafah has attacked.
