The seat of the Antwerp chamber of incrimination (KI), which must decide whether the eight suspects in the investigation into the voetbalfraude whether or not the cell should remain, is something about nine o’clock start. It is expected that the pleadings of the lawyers for several hours will take up.

The court in Tongeren decided last week to the arrest of nine suspects with one month to renew. Four of these defendants – agents Karim Mejjati and Dragan Siljanoksi, Maria Bogojevska (the girlfriend of estate agent Dejan Veljkovic) and financial director of voetbalcub KV Mechelen, Thierry Steemans – were what the court was concerned with an electronic ankle bracelet their pretrial home serving.

The federal public prosecutor’s office, however, went in appeal against that electronic surveillance, which the four still in prison, to remain until the KI is about the occupation bent. This is what happens currently.

Who also for the KI appear, top referee Bart Vertenten, broker, Mogi Bayat, Olivier Somers of KV Mechelen and ex-lawyer, Laurent Denis. They went in appeal against the prolongation of their detention by the judiciary. Football agent Dejan Veljkovic did not do that, so today, but eight suspects for the KI appear.

More Later.
