Kirsten Flipkens will play final doubles at the WTA-tournament in Linz

Kirsten Flipkens plays Sunday the final of the doubles in Linz ($250,000). In her semi-final she won Saturday on the side of the Swedish Johanna Larsson by two 6-2 of the Ukrainian Ludmyla Kichenok and the Slovenian Katarina Srebotnik. After 1 hour and 2 minutes it was all over.

Kichenok and Srebotnik were, however, the second seed on the hard courts in Austria. Flipkens and Larsson were a place lower. In the finals they give the first reekshoofen party. That are the American Raquel Atawo and the German Anna-Lena Grönefeld. They placed themselves on Friday by the Romanian Irina Bara and the Swiss Xenia Knoll with twice 6-3 defeat.

Flipkens, 43rd on the dubbelranking, a fourth WTA title in the doubles to her name, a second this season. In april, she won to the side of Elise Mertens in Lugano. In 2017, she brought with Slovakian Dominika Cibulkova Rosmalen on her achievements and with Larsson, she was in 2016 all the best in Seoul.
