Series about Wu-Tang clan in the making

The ten-part series is based on two books RZA wrote in The Wu-Tang Manual and the Tao of Wu. The show is set according to the makers ’in the early ’90s, in the worst days of the crack epidemic in New York and follows RZA in his commitment to ’a group of young African-American men together who have to choose between music and crime, and ultimately an unlikely American success story’.

Wu-Tang Clan-personalities RZA and Method Man go to work as the producers of the series, which was purchased by the American streaming service Hulu. Band members Ghostface Killa, Inspectah Deck, Masta Killa, GZA, and the heirs of Ol’ Dirty Bastard have been appointed as consultants.
