In Denmark there is a tv series about the investigation of the duikbootmoord of August 2017. That has producer Fremantle announced.
The new tv series, production of which in the course of 2019 will start, will focus on the work of the detectives. They have a unique insight into the complex investigation’ into the murder.
The series will be written and directed by Tobias Lindholm, a screenwriter of the popular Danish political drama Borgen. He will work closely with the police of Copenhagen and the parents of Kim Wall.
The duikbootmoord caused last year a lot of fuss. The Swedish journalist Kim Wall (30), disappeared after she put on 10 August 2017 on board had gone the homemade submarine of the Danish inventor Peter Madsen (47), of whom it is a portrait wanted to make. Her body, in pieces, was cut, was later found in the bay of Koge, near Copenhagen.
Madsen was awarded in april life sentence for the murder. His sentence was at the end of september confirmed by the court of appeal in Copenhagen.
