During the summer months the transmitters in a number of events and that has, according to Medialaan paid off. “There is always thought that there would be less people during the summer to listen to the radio, but these figures speak against”, what it sounds like. “Qmusic is has become the market leader in young people between 18 and 34 years of 24.2 percent market share. They will do the Wrong Party, the Q-Beach House 5 Sunset Concerts, the world cup programs for something.”
Also at VRT they are satisfied with the figures. “Our joint radio market share remains identical to the previous wave: 63.1 year percent. That is a strong and stable result,” says spokesman Hans Van Goethem.
With Nostalgia, the third commercial channel in Flanders, notes general manager Tom Klerkx on the “a summer with nice temperatures and beautiful results” for the transmitter.
