AS Monaco last Thursday, coach Leonardo Jardim fired. The 44-year-old Portuguese is held responsible for the dramatic start to the season of the Monegasken.

Jardim worked since 2014 for Monaco and knew fantastsiche years at the club. In 2017, it was Monaco under his leadership, champion of France. The team, with Radamel Falcao and the now departed Kylian Mbappé as eye-catchers, scored no less than 107 times in Ligue 1 and also made the semi-finals of the Champions League.

Last season was Monaco handsome second behind the unbeatable Paris Saint-Germain, but this year everything is different. The club from the principality picked up just six points in the first nine races, and eighteenth in Ligue 1.
