A singer with Laïs, Annelies Brosens, will receive the annual prize of the association of Ups & Downs, an association for people with bipolar disorder or chronic major depression, and their environment. The npo awarded the singers because they have the past few years, regularly testified about her depression and recovery. The price is on Saturday October 13, presented during the annual forum of the association in the Provinciehuis in Leuven.
The vzw praises Brosens for their open and positive attitude about her condition, which she contributed to taboedoorbreking and destigmatisering of psychological problems.
