At least eleven fatalities in Haiti earthquake

The earthquake that struck Haiti Saturday night has taken, at least eleven people to the life to come. That reported government spokesman Jackson Alexis. A crisis cell was launched to the reddingswerken to coordinate.

The earthquake had a strength of 5.9 on the Richter scale. The epicenter was located at about twenty kilometers northwest of the coastal town of Port-de-Paix. The earthquake was felt in the capital, Port-au-Prince and in the Dominican Republic, the neighboring country with which Haiti the island of Hispaniola is shared.
