Guy Ramos is with eleven red cards to the Dutch record-holder.
The 33-year-old defender, a notorious kaartenpakker, came in the past for FC Dordrecht, RKC Waalwijk and Roda JC.
“We were a bit short of central defenders and we wanted the defence would like to strengthen. With Ramos, we think the desired additional strength inside,” says technical director Robert Maaskant. “Guy is a guy with proven defensive qualities.”
Ramos, twaalfvoudig Kaapverdisch international, was a press conference and trained for several weeks with the team of trainer Michele Santoni.
“Due to various circumstances, I have two lesser seasons behind the back. Therefore, it is great that I now again to play football to come. I am glad that I was in the spotlight, I was able to play of the technical staff. Naturally, I am a leiderstype. That is because of the experience I gained and my position in the field. I hope the younger boys in tow.”
In the shirt of RKC drew Ramos in season 2011/2012 a record in a single season less than twelve yellow cards. Two years later, was a next record in fact. In november 2014, he saw for the eleventh time red. No one in the Dutch professional football was as often expelled.
