The 22-year-old Fares was one of the most influential vloggers in Iraq. She made photos and videos of herself and posted on Instagram, Twitter or YouTube. Over 2.7 million followers saw how they one day a gothic queen and the next day as a naughty schoolgirl or a vamp with flaming red lips appeared.

There is no doubt that the former Miss Baghdad had an enormous influence on the young Iraqi girls. By her – sometimes challenging – poses to post, she asked the double moral standards in her country to the jaw.
