Catalan parliament suspends separatists not

MADRID – The Catalan regioparlement refuses six separatist parliamentarians to suspend. The house of representatives voted, in addition, in a motion that makes it possible for party members to authorize, on behalf of the refugee leader, Carles Puigdemont, and five supporters to vote, said a parlementswoordvoerder.

The parliament puts through suspension, to reject a ruling of the Spanish supreme court.

The parliament puts through suspension, to reject a ruling of the Spanish supreme court. That court ruled earlier this year that old-regiopremier Puigdemont and other separatists at the moment no public functions should have. They have fled abroad or are in the cell because of their involvement in the onafhankelijkheidsreferendum of last year.

It is more than a year after Madrid banned referendum was still unsettled in Catalonia. Catalans went this week onto the streets to underline that the separatism is still alive in the region.
