The netherlands has set million is available for Sulawesi

The Hague – the Netherlands, 1 million euros available to help the victims of the earthquake and tsunami on the Indonesian island of Sulawesi. That has minister Kaag (development Cooperation) Monday decided.

The contribution is intended for medical assistance, food, water and emergency shelters. Money is also going to psychological first aid to trauma to relieve that the disasters have caused.

The amount is made available via the Red Cross. On-site assistance through the Indonesian Red Cross. There is no specific request to the Netherlands for the send of goods or other assistance.

Minister Kaag has Monday by telephone had contact with the Indonesian minister of Finance. Kaag has condolences transferred and expressed sympathy with the relatives and other victims of the catastrophe.
