Figurehead #MeToo-movement acknowledges to have sex with underage actor

The Italian actress Asia Argento, one of the first and loudest voices of the #MeToo movement, has admitted to having sex with co-actor Jimmy Bennett when still a minor. The now 43-year-old actress now says sorry with “this lost soul”.

The New York Times reported last month that the actress Bennett had paid in order to settle the matter. Argento confirmed when the payment, but, according to her, had to deal with financial problems of the actor. She denied first sexual relations with him to have had.
On the Italian channel La7 gives them now that the sex had been between them. The facts were played in 2013, when the actor seventeen years. The two had arranged for an audition. “He had jumped me and I froze,” in her version. The months afterwards, it would Bennett her via Snapchat videos sent in which he is naked and masturbated.
Argento gets now heavily out to her Bennett. “His statements made me a little angry, but most of all I feel sorry for him (…) Bennett is a child that failed to continue his career and is therefore a lost soul.” They blame him also her to blackmail.
After the revelations by the New York Times was Argento from the Italian version of X Factor is removed.
