The American beurstoezichthouder SEC has Tesla ceo Elon Musk sued. The content of the complaint is unknown, but there was already an investigation for him because of misleading investors.
Musk tweeted recently that he was working on a privatisation of the maker of electric cars. Especially the tweet that funding for the of the stock market pick up Tesla’s all around would have caused a fuss, and was also premature. The privatisation plan has now been revoked.
The SEC investigates those tweets, but would also be older statements by Musk. Statements about the production and sales targets of the company could also be misleading.
