Author Pieter Post death

ILKLEY – The creator of the animatiefiguurtje Postman Pat (Pieter Post), John Cunliffe, died in his home town of Ilkley in the Uk. He died already on 20 september and became Wednesday buried, reports a local newspaper in Ilkley on Thursday. Cunliffe was 85 years of age.

Except for the children’s television around the dorpspostbode and his black and white cat, which is also in the Netherlands, was broadcast, wrote to Cunliffe poetry and children’s books. He also wrote for the tv series Rosie & Jim.
