Fans of the popular television series Downton Abbey may have their agenda pack. The date on which the first film was released is september 13, 2019, reports Deadline.

“Since the series has ended wait a lot of fans of Downton on the next chapter of the Crawley family,” said Peter Kujawski from the production company Focus Features. “We are very excited to be a part of this incredible group of filmmakers and the world of Downton next year to the big screen.”

Earlier this year, it was announced that Downton Abbey, about an aristocratic British family and their staff, and a film. The series ran six seasons, from 2010 to 2015, and has won three Golden Globes and fifteen emmys. Also in the Netherlands were the episodes broadcast.
