ROME – Both the Italian and international trade unions of journalists save the alarm about the curtailment of press freedom in Italy. The government in Rome wants, even indirect state aid to media, stop and call state-owned enterprises no more in newspapers to advertise. There should be as little as possible “impure” publishers of newspapers left.
Vice-premier Di Maio takes a critical media undesirable.
