f094381318559e97d00d4d8723513c26 - Bruno Vanden Broecke wins Dutch award

Actor Bruno Vanden Broecke, who we know as Sammy Tanghe in The Island or from Safety First, the most important Dutch prize for actors, won the Louis D’or. He received the award for the monologue of Para, which was written by David Van Reybrouck. Vanden Broecke plays an ex-paracommando who participated in the Belgian military intervention in Somalia 25 years ago. Only a few Belgians won the prize before, including Dirk Roofthooft, Lucas Van den Eynde and Warre Borgmans.
