DAMASCUS – Syrian state media report that government forces Israeli missiles has been intercepted. That would have happened in the near of the airport of the Syrian capital, Damascus.

“Our air defense systems have the Israeli aggression with rockets foiled”, said Syrian military sources at the state news agency SANA. A spokesman of the Israeli army would not comment on the message from Damascus.
The Israeli air force has in the past, many of the targets attacked in Syria, where for years a civil war is raging. The regime of president Bashar al-Assad now has the largest share of the land conquered insurgents. Assad was supported by Russia and Iran, the archenemy of Israel.
