LONDON – The London mayor Sadiq Khan has called for a new referendum on British membership of the European Union. In the Sunday newspaper The Observer has Khan criticism on the negotiations of the government and he says that the way of life, the economy and the jobs too much risk, without that the voters are about to speak.

,,The voters should decide on any agreement that the government, or a no-deal-brexit if there is no agreement, or the option to be in the EU”, writes Khan in the newspaper.

Prime minister Theresa May has repeatedly ruled out a second referendum. The members of parliament are allowed to vote or they are the final agreement will accept. Britain leaves the EU on 29 march 2019. The negotiators of the EU and Great Britain are, however, not yet agreed on the mutual relationship after the brexit.
