Nicolai Jörgensen can not believe his luck with his comeback to Feyenoord. The Danish striker made Sunday in the away game against AZ (1-1) his first official minutes of the season, after he has for months stood on the side with a mysterious foot injury.

“It was hard all that time helpless along the sidelines watching my team mates it afbrachten, but finally I am back”, he began his story in the catacombs of the AFAS Stadium in Alkmaar.

Jörgensen played with his country at the world cup – he missed in the lost penalty shootout in the eighth finals against Croatia from 11 metres – but had to be back at Feyenoord sit in the infirmary.
