Janine Bishops looked so hard looking forward to the series of performances of “Bishops & The Knight” to play but exhaustion throws a spanner in the works, and the producer is forced to her just before the start of the tour to be replaced. Danni Heylen jumps into the breach!
Danni is now busy rehearsing with tegenspeelster Linda De Ridder on 20 september, the first show to play in Herne. These two comedic naturals by unforeseen circumstances brought together in this contemporary show. Danni Heylen is not a casual choice, she has so much experience with the genre, and therefore had no think twice when her the question was asked.
Originally, Janine Bishops, together with Linda in action in this comic sketchesshow. They already had extensive experience with this genre is built up during the show, “The Last Word!” two seasons ago. But the first performance of “Bishops & The Knight” last Sunday in the Theater Elckerlyc was postponed due to fatigue at Janine. THEATERTAINMENT, the manufacturer of o.a. the annual WINTERREVUE and of THE COMEDY COMPANY productions, had already announced it: this new show would go a step further! “Bishops & The Knight” is flashier, faster, and therefore much harder for the actresses. More characters, more sketches but this, of course, also more text and kledingwissels.
