SEOUL – A South Korean delegation on Wednesday had a meeting with North Korean leader Kim Jong-un. The South Koreans had a personal letter from president Moon Jae-in taken for the dictator, message, news agency Yonhap.

The head of the delegation had previously been the hopes that he and Kim could speak. It was still not clear that such a meeting would take place. There were at that time no agreement has been made.
The delegation must prepare for a third personal meeting between the leaders of the neighbouring countries. That must place this month, but there was still no specific date set. The South Koreans hope that their visit Wednesday, also has a positive effect on the negotiations with the US.
