The Jamaican Usain Bolt has his first real competition as a footballer behind the back. The fastest man on earth came on Friday with his Australian club Central Coast Mariners in the friendly match against a amateurclub. According to his coach, there is still some refinements needed.
The 32-year-old Bolt made his first appearance for Central Coast Mariners in Gosford, 80 km from Sydney, for a crowd of 12.000 spectators. Then Bolt in the 71st minute fancied, had his club six times scored. “I know I’m not the perfect match will play”, predicted the eightfold olympic medalist advance.
Central Coast Mariners coach Mike Mulvey gave afterwards that Bolt the basistalent do, but that there are still refinements to be voetbaltechniek.
