CHEMNITZ – Justice in the German city of Chemnitz has an employee suspended the official arrest warrant against a suspect of a stabbing would have leaked. The case caused the last few days of uproar in Germany.
The stabbing was Saturday and took a 35-year-old German life. A 23-year-old Syrian and a 22-year-old Iraqi man as suspects arrested. The incident led Sunday and Monday to protests and riots in the city.
The disputed arrest warrant came through right-wing extremist circles, on the internet and was then shared widely. In the arrest warrant were details about the stabbing and the address of one of the suspects. Justice was the case embarrassed.
Although the Wednesday was a quiet in the city, the local police help of the national police. Various organization like the coming days are going to demonstrate.
