The Canadian prime minister Justin Trudeau and American president Donald Trump have a ‘constructive meeting’ Monday, after the news had hit that the U.S. and Mexico, an agreement, renegotiated the North American free trade agreement (Nafta). That makes it cabinet-Trudeau airport Monday known.
“The leaders out the progress in the discussions with Mexico are positive. They are looking forward with interest to their teams in the negotiations this week to continue, with the hope of a good outcome, ” says the cabinet-Trudeau in the press release.
Trump let Monday know that a ‘very good agreement’ with Mexico is closed. Nafta, the free trade agreement between Mexico, Canada and the USA, already exists since 1994.
Canada must now re-sit to the negotiating table. Immediately after the news was touched, said the Canadian minister for foreign affairs Chrystia Freeland that she Tuesday would be back in Washington for the negotiations to continue’, which is already a year underway. They need a diplomatic mission in Europe pause, that she only had just begun.
