The shooting guard Manu Ginobili (41) stops with professional basketball after a career of 23 years, including 16 in the NBA team San Antonio Spurs. That has the Argentine announced Monday on Twitter. ‘El Manu crowned four time NBA champion (2003, 2005, 2007, 2014) and formed together with Tim Duncan and Tony Parker the ‘Big Three’ at the Spurs.
“Today I announce with a whole range of emotions that I stop with basketball”, tweette Ginobili. “I’m all (family, friends, team mates, coaches, staff, fans) who over the past 23 years, played a role in my life, really thankful. It is a fantastic trip, better than in my wildest dreams.”
In 2002, swapped Ginobili Virtus Bologna for the Spurs. He would be 16 NBA seasons finish in San Antonio, for which he 1.057 matches played.
