NORFOLK – Tourists on the cruise ship Pacific Princess are Saturday night witnessed a thrilling rescue on the North sea. Dozens of people on board saw three persons in a reddingsbootje with a lot of pain and effort on board were hoisted from the luxeschip.
When the men were brought to safety, there was a loud applause from the deck. Later hit the mood on board when the captain omriep that there are still two other crew members missing. The cruise ship enter for another two hours through the area, before the coast guard, the quest took over. It reports Sky News.
The fishing boat of the men sank some 30 kilometers off the coast of Norfolk. They were more than four hours in the life raft before the ship the three of them noticed. The rescue services are a large search began for the two remaining missing persons. The nationality of the fishermen is not released.
