CATANIA – The maritime health authorities in the Italian city of Catania (Sicily) have ordered that sixteen passengers on the Italian kustwachtschip Diciotti immediately brought ashore. It goes to eleven women and five men. Two of them may have tuberculosis, report Italian media.
On the ship is much to do. It saved earlier this month a group of some 190 migrants from the sea. Forty of them, among whom are minors, are brought ashore, but the others should be on the order of government on board. Italy requires that other member states of the European Union picking them up.
Right now it looks so for health reasons again a group of board, while there are still no definitive solution in sight. The ministry of Internal Affairs would agree.
