The Australian Rohan Dennis has the prologue of the Vuelta won. Our fellow countryman Victor Campenaerts finished in third place, one second from Michal Kwiatkowski.

The 28-year-old Dennis klokte after 9:39.81, and was six seconds faster than the Pole Michal Kwiatkowski (Sky). Victor Campenaerts (Lotto Soudal) was third.
