The migrants on board of the Italian kustwachtschip Diciotti will have longer patience to practice. At a meeting between representatives of various EU countries on Friday in Brussels, no agreement has been found of a possible distribution of the refugees on the ship.
That is heard in circles of the Italian ministry of the Interior.
The ship of the Italian coast guard is since Monday night docked in the port of Catania, on the Italian island of Sicily. One hundred and fifty migrants are not allowed to disembark. Italy desires of other EU member states who are also refugees include, if not threatening, deputy prime minister Luigi Di Maio, the EU contribution to stop.
The negotiations between the 12 EU countries were also long-term solutions for the concerns of Rome in the field of migration. Except Italy names Austria, Belgium, France, Germany, Greece, Ireland, Luxembourg, Malta, the Netherlands, Portugal and Spain participated in the talks, according to European sources.
