Russia opens channels of communication with US

MOSCOW – Russia and the United States lines of communication between the two countries re-open. This, the American national security adviser John Bolton and his Russian counterpart, Nikolay Patroesjev agreed, reported Russian media on the authority of Patroesjev.

John Bolton (R) and Nikolai Patrushev (L).

Both of them met in Geneva. Patroesjev has his interlocutor invited later to come talk in Russia. The channels of communication in his honor should be restored, are in particular between the ministries of Defence and the ministry of Foreign Affairs of both powers.

The two managers finally arrived not with a joint statement. That would be a result of the ongoing contentions about the possible Russian interference in the American election in 2016. The Kremlin proposes nothing to do with it, if it’s already happened.

Any Russian interference corrupted also a part of the summit between presidents Putin and Trump in Helsinki in July. Trump made it clear nothing of the claims about Russian interference to believe, but after fierce criticism on the home front, scratched he back.

The Russian minister of Foreign Affairs Sergey Lavrov accused Washington in a telephone conversation with his American colleague Mike Pompeo “is a destructive attitude to have” when it comes to cooperation with Russia. He also stressed the need to stop the “persecution” of the Russian Maria Boetina. She is in the US caught because she was a Russian agent.
