Australian Nick Schultz are going in their own country for Mitchelton-Scott bikes

The Australian rider Nick Schultz has a contract for two seasons, signed at Mitchelton-Scott, the WorldTourploeg from their own country. He leaves the Spanish Caja Rural-Seguros.

Schultz, 23, is no veelwinnaar but took this season places of honor in the Spanish klimkoersen GP Miguel Indurain (third, after Alejandro Valverde and Carlos Verona) and Klasika Primavera (seventh). This weekend, he starts for the second consecutive time in the Vuelta.

For Mitchelton-Scott Schultz is no stranger, because in 2016, he was already a trainee. “Two years ago there was for him no place in the team but we are progression followed. He is a real climbing talent and we are very pleased to see him again to be able to welcome,” said sports director Matt White.
