Duyster revives only once, at the alternative music festival, Leffingeleuren. The host of Ayco Duyster and Eppo Janssen beat hands again in each other for an evening in the spirit of the legendary radio show.
Yet for Spotify and co each (micro-)genre, or state of being packaged into a convenient playlist, there was Duyster. The radio show is in the Flemish music scene so influential that the name in music reviews often pops up as aanduider of a particular type of sound.
That sound -the intimate and often melancholy – do the host of Ayco Duyster and Eppo Janssen once revived on september 15, in the church of Leffinge. The program includes live sessions from The Bony King of Nowhere, Bert Dockx of Flying Horseman, and Hilary Woods. The Brit Will Samson close the evening off with a longer concert. In between is music to hear that, as was typical for the program or who are currently making their way to the playlist.
Those who had hoped the program by radio to follow them for the effort. Studio Brussel will be done directly on the radio broadcast. Tickets for the festival are still available.
