ROME – An Italian kustwachtschip 177 rescued migrants on board has arrived in the port of Catania. The migrants may, however, only of board as other EU-member states willing they are to catch, say sources within the ministry of Home Affairs against the news agency ANSA.
The boat is located in the port of Catania.
The kustwachtschip the migrants last week from the sea met. Minister Matteo Salvini (Home Affairs) has indicated them to want to return to Libya if they are not spread across the EU. The politician of anti-immigratiepartij Lega finds that his country has already enough asylum seekers and refugees has collected.
The Italian ministry of Foreign Affairs, Brussels has formally asked for help, reports ANSA.
