The Brit Danny Boyle will not be the next James bond film directing. There would be a case of ‘creative differences’.
The decision of Boyle, it was announced via a short statement on the official twitter account of the 007 franchise. There were no further details provided on what the mentioned differences mean, and whether there is already a successor to Boyle is ready.
The twenty-fifth James Bond film, currently still in the pre-production stage, around november 2019 in the halls is expected. The shooting of the film, the successor of mega-hit Spectre, must in december. Though it is not sure whether those dates after the departure of Boyle still has to be achieved.
Boyle, who previously classics and blockbuster movies as Trainspotting and Slumdog Millionaire directed, was announced in may as the director for the next bond film. Producers Michael G. Wilson and Barbara Broccoli called him then an ‘exceptional talent’.
