Boston – The American cardinal Raymond Burke believes that abuse by clergy is mainly due to homosexuality.
That said the cardinal in an interview with the president of the christian organization, Catholic Action for Faith and Family. The conversation took place after it was known that thousands of children in America for years have been abused by some three hundred priests in the state of Pennsylvania.

The abuse is, according to him, not the fault of the church, but are “acts that come by the homosexual culture. That the church has influenced and must be eradicated.”
“Sexuality is only between the man and the woman.” Burke encourages parents also to children from the neighbourhood of gays and gay family members.
The cardinal doesn’t believe that the church is in need of drastic reform, or that more stringent controls should be. The rules are according to him are already clear enough.
