Russian president Vladimir Putin has asked Europe to help in the reconstruction in Syria, during his visit to Germany. “It is important the humanitarian component of the Syrian conflict to expand, especially humanitarian aid for the Syrian people,” said Putin before his meeting with the German chancellor, Angela Merkel.
