Continuum Sports, the merger of the American WorldTour team BMC and the Polish procontinentale team CCC Sprandi Polkowice, Saturday the career of Nathan Van Hooydonck (currently BMC) announced.
The 22-year-old inhabitant of antwerp, is the nephew of ex-Round of Vlaanderenwinnaar Edwig Van Hooydonck, made last year his professional debut with BMC. This year he showed the first time his talent with a fourth place in the overall classification of the Tour of Dubai. At the Belgian championship in Binche, he was seventh. Van Hooydonck in the next few years an important pawn in the classic team around Greg Van Avermaet.
“At this point in my career I should try my leader in the best possible way to help”, confirmed the young man. “Greg and I match quite well and I want to be loyal and to show towards him. I can currently not imagine in the service of someone else to drive. In the team I have always appreciated felt. I’m here in the best possible way to develop as a cyclist.”
